Mellomrom is a series that explores spring as a threshold — in nature and in the body. It is inspired by the slow shifts of the season and a gentler, more grounded physical rhythm.

The starting point is spring in the mountains, where the snow melts layer by layer and the landscape opens in new directions. In this space between the outer and the inner, the paintings emerge: atmospheric surfaces, soft transitions, subtle shifts, and layers that release.

The series captures what happens in the in‑between — the quiet movement that arises when something lets go, opens. A spring that slowly becomes itself.

Mellomrom invites stillness, presence, and an attuned gaze toward the inner landscape, where silence turns into movement and light finds new paths.
