These terms apply to purchases made in the online shop at www.artbybirthev.com. By completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. Seller

I run a small, independent art shop where all artworks are created and shipped personally by me.

2. Products

I sell original artworks, art prints, and select handmade products. Colors, textures, and details may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. All measurements and descriptions are as accurate as possible.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in NOK.

Payment is made through the methods available in the online shop (e.g., PayPal, Vipps, or bank transfer).

Your purchase becomes binding once payment is completed.

Any shipping costs will be shown before you finalize your order.

4. Delivery

Detailed information about shipping, delivery, pickup, and packaging can be found on the Information page.

In short:

Orders are normally shipped within 3–7 business days.
I pack all artworks securely to ensure safe transport.
Free home delivery in Bergen and the option for pickup by appointment.
Delays caused by the shipping carrier are outside my control, but I will gladly assist with tracking.

5. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Full information about returns and withdrawal rights can be found on the Information page.

Main points:

You have a 14‑day withdrawal period from the day you receive the item.
The item must be returned in the same condition as received.
The buyer covers return shipping costs.
Custom orders cannot be returned.
Digital products cannot be withdrawn after download.

6. Complaints

If an item is damaged upon delivery, please contact me within 48 hours and include photos of the damage.

I follow Norwegian consumer protection laws and will help you find a suitable solution.

7. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with my privacy policy, which you can find in the footer of the website.

8. Copyright

All content on the website — artwork, images, text, and design — belongs to Art by BirtheV. No part of the content may be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without written permission.

Purchasing artwork does not grant rights to use the image for marketing, reproduction, or commercial purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

I am not responsible for:

delays or damage caused by the shipping carrier
technical issues on the website
losses resulting from the use of the website or online shop

I always do my best to ensure a safe and positive purchasing experience.

10. Changes to the Terms

I may update these terms when necessary. The newest version will always be published on this page.
